A little background:

      It was during a city council meeting specifically during the one with the flock prison surveillance cameras that were actually up for discussion when I heard the sound of reason from the people of Gig Harbor for all topics.
      I was so impressed that I felt proud to live here more than ever before.

      Based on what I've heard at said meeting, I feel the same way the people do. The people are completely reasonable here in Gig Harbor and I am pleased to be here.

      Therefore I bring an offer for the people's consideration, to provide on behalf of the people consistent, fierce, sound, unflinching representation, the people will be first before anything.

      I offer an exceptional refined skill set of problem solving skills of which utilize a logical systematic approach, meticulously fine tuned and harmonized with reason in order to accomplish a consistent strategic objective of balance, as is represented by the scales of justice. The balance of right vs wrong will always dominate compliance vs non-compliance as a matter of policy in accordance with RCW 42.56.030

Some thoughts of Proposal Examples from the next Mayors desk -

In consideration of the expressed interests of the people, specifically;
            I hear the people do not like the Stinson St. roundabout, therefore-
         (1) I propose we trash it and prioritize the requested traffic light ahead of any discretionary projects. Lets break some ground on that roundabout I often hear affectionately referred to as the roundabout from hello.
         This next proposal is based on the utmost respect for the people's time, as time is the most highly valued treasure man is gifted with, therefore-
         (2) I propose an Immediate alteration to the standard city council meeting format for the purposes of increased efficiency, effectiveness, public interest, and participation as follows- 
                  (a) Fewer agenda items per meeting, this way those who are interested in participating in some subjects and not others, will not be discouraged from future participation by being subjected to waste their valuable time sitting through agenda items for which they have no interest.
          The implementation of said proposal (a) will provide a satisfying experience to the people with a greater probability of return. I have many more simple strategic proposals that will result in increased public interest and participation ten fold. If people are discouraged from attending meetings, then how can we ever expect to provide a City by the people and for the people?
          One example of a simple small strategy in support is the provision of an easy to access 5 min instructional video for the people on how to prepare the most effective statement and then measure it against a 3 minute time window. This alone will result in an exponential increase in public interest and further by maximizing the efficiency of participation in a fun, strategic, challenging way which serves the best interest of the people as they are empowered to effectively communicate their ideas. And the result is council meetings that are more satisfying and fun and a higher probability of return.

Intended Result?

 A city by the people and for the people. Anything less is unacceptable.

What does efficiency minded mean? Picture a drop of water filling an Olympic swimming pool.
